Buffet 101 Cebu was created with a simple yet ambitious vision—to bring a world-class dining experience within reach of every Filipino. Inspired by the concept of luxury hotel buffets, it was designed to offer not just food, but a complete culinary journey that celebrates global flavors in one place. Behind Buffet 101 is the restaurant group led by Robert Chua, known for developing popular buffet concepts in the Philippines. Building on the success of other buffet brands, the team envisioned a larger, more refined dining space that could elevate Cebu’s buffet scene while keeping prices accessible. When it opened in Mandaue City, Buffet 101 quickly became one of the biggest buffet restaurants in the region. With its expansive dining hall and over 300 dishes spanning Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Western cuisines, it redefined what “eat-all-you-can” meant—moving from simple abundance to variety, quality, and experience.
