Our Story
The journey behind our success
Nestled along the peaceful coastline of Badian, South Cebu, Cuestas Beach Resort and Restaurant began as a dream to create a place where travelers could experience both comfort and the natural beauty of Cebu’s southern shores. The resort was lovingly established by Mogens Sorenson, a Danish chef and entrepreneur, together with his Filipino wife Nicky. Inspired by the serene ocean views, lush greenery, and the warm hospitality of the local community, they transformed the property into a relaxing beachfront retreat for guests from around the world. Travelers frequently mention the owners by name and describe the resort as family-run and welcoming.
